Kelly M. Butler


Kelly Butler provides strategic consultation and advocacy to employers in all areas of labor and employment litigation. She deals with a variety of legal issues arising under both state and federal law, including discrimination, wrongful termination, unpaid wages, and class actions.

Kelly began her career as an associate with Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP, where she dealt extensively with claims arising from the Private Attorneys General Act, and advocated for employers ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small family-owned businesses. In law school, Kelly was a regional finalist in the highly-regarded ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition, and served as a judicial extern to a senior federal judge in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. She also studied Public Relations and Communications prior to beginning her legal career, which provides her with a uniquely strategic perspective to bring to her employer representation and advice.
