Kevin M. Brown


Kevin Brown represents public and private employers in all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including suits for wrongful termination, defamation, harassment, discrimination, whistleblower retaliation, and wage and hour disputes. Beyond litigation, his experience also includes criminal and administrative investigations, mediations, risk management, training, standardization, and strategic planning.

Prior to joining the firm, Kevin was an associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP, where he represented  corporations and manufacturers in complex commercial litigation and product liability matters. Kevin also  served as a volunteer judicial law clerk to the Honorable Marcia S. Krieger in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado.

Before engaging in the private practice of law, Kevin served in the United States Marine Corps as both a military attorney and a naval aviator. While working as a judge advocate, Kevin acted as a first-chair trial attorney on behalf of the United States in complex jury trials and assisted in supervising all federal prosecutions at three military bases. Kevin also served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney and managed a law office that provided civil legal services. An experienced instructor pilot, Kevin flew the AH-1W Super Cobra attack helicopter during three combat deployments. Kevin also worked as a safety expert, an investigator, a trainer, and a maintenance quality assurance division supervisor at the largest squadron in the Marine Corps. Kevin continues to serve as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

While in law school, Kevin served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Neil M. Gorsuch (United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit), for the Honorable Christine M. Arguello in the U.S. District Court of Colorado, and for the Hon. Morris B. Hoffman in the Colorado Second Judicial District.

Throughout his academic and professional career, Kevin received awards for academic achievement, writing, appellate oral advocacy, trial advocacy, leadership, combat aviation, and superior performance as a military attorney.
